Charlie Hebdo is releasing on Wednesday its first issue since the deadly shootings at its Paris offices that killed 12 people last week.

The satirical publication will release three million copies of its Jan. 14 edition. Here is the cover.

The cover image depicts the Muslim prophet Muhammad shedding a tear and holding up a sign saying, "Je Suis Charlie," in reference to the slogan people have used to show solidarity with the shooting victims.

There is also a headline saying, "Tout est pardonné," which means, "All is forgiven."

It's a powerful statement following attacks by men who objected to the depiction of the Muslim prophet in its pages.

Cartoonists is a loser occupation?  Without cartoonists we wouldn't have Superman, Batman, Ironman, Homer Simpson, Beavis & Butthead, Archie, Charlie Brown and Snoopy, and of course the prophet Mohammed. 8)

I think Cartoonists are frikken awesome.

Nowadays every time I hear any news out of Europe, I always think that Victoria Nuland's

famous "f**k the EU" and how Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London, called his colleagues

the "great supine protoplasmic invertebrate jellies".

I share exactly the same sentiments:

let them "Charlies" now freeze in their own pathetic mediocrity. Tongue

The Europeans have more testicular fortitude than any of our pathetic excuses for journalists and satirists here in North America.  They have dared to expose by satire and humour a depraved and toxic religion in its present form called Islam.

It comes as no great surprise to me that the Islamic fascists are still holding strong to their tried and tested tactic of suppressing the free expression of thoughts, ideas, and speech by threats, intimidation and violence.  They don't have the intellectual capacity nor the sense of humour to pen their own cartoons or respond with well thought out arguments.

The so-called moderate Muslims who tacitly support these murdering thugs continue to be deeply offended by satirists cartoons but not of the thousands of fellow Muslims killed and maimed daily, monthly, and yearly through sectarian violence in so-called Muslim countries.

I commend our secular brothers and sisters in Europe who fight this battle for us because we in North America have spinelessly capitulated and opened the gates to these barbarians.
