I think everyone recognises this move by the WICB to be motivated by a kind of vindictiveness. And we don't even particularly like the guys being kicked off the ODI team.

I have no feelings one way or the other on the guys who got dropped.
I do laud them for having the foresight to make decisions in their best interest, a move which has certainly led to them NOT being dependent on the WICB for paltry handouts.
And at the very least the strike now means that the likes of Holder will get their contracts well in advance of any tour.
