The selectors missed the boat ....... when they named Lil Bravo's replacement
IMO .... Deo should've been picked based on his current form !!!!
The fact there is that time span, 10 years, shows he was incapable of cementing a place in the team and demonstraes his inconsistency!
It may also demonstrate inconsistency in the selection policy but perhaps you should look at Deo's performances in the intervening 10 years!
In the absence of English FC cricket, ask Lloyd, in Windian terms these days, players are better in their later years so you cannot discount lads in their late 20s and early to mid 30s!
As I said there is a window from which the selectors can select and it was prior to the commencement of the FC season so they have selected a team which was done on merit up to the A tour. Blackwood failed in that tour but he made a promising start to his International career so it was right to give him a futher chance.
Deo may not have had that run, which he should have!
I see Deo as more than a natural replacement for Leon.
I would be a happy man when I see Bishoo retun even if it is against England!
