KOLKATA: Rohit Sharma today scripted history by notching up the highest-ever individual score in one-day internationals, scoring a breathtaking knock of 264 against Sri Lanka in the fourth cricket one-dayer here.
During his rollicking knock which came off just 173 balls, Rohit surpassed the previous record set by countryman Virender Sehwag, who smashed 219 in an ODI against West Indies at Indore, back in 2011.
Rohit also became the only player in world cricket to score two doub ..
Rohit Sharma cannot bat. He cannot bat. He cannot bat.
He averages 27 in ODIs outside of India.
He averages 22 in Tests outside of India.
There's a reason all ODI double centuries (and most of the highest 20 ODI scores) are by Indians in India. They play non-stop ODI games vs crap opposition on crap pitches.
These indian pitches have just made batting look like a joke, absolutely nothing for the bowlers. And plain cement for batsmen. No wonder these indian fail miserably in the tests abroad.

Of course we bat well on our pitches. Why can't you guys win a match here by batting the same way? No talent, I guess. Every team is strong in their home.
