Ha ha ha!


Fact is, based on the end of season tables, Guyana has been the worst performing team in the domestic 4 day competition for many years but in the last 5 years.


Is that true or not?


07/08 position last as well.

I am not trying to give any particular impression except where they placed in the table for 6-7 years.

Bishoo made his debut in 2011 after Guyana had finished bottom of the table. In fact he had only taken 15 wickets compared to Austin's 44!


Chattergoon also made his debut when Guyana finished last in 2007/08 but he did well with an average of 51. Devon Smith did much better in that season with an average of 56 but he was tried in 2003 and the selectors wanted something new. So it is true some individuals did well but in the end 4 tests averaging 18?


Irrespective of who made debuts in that time, like Baker, Tonge etc, based on the tables it is what it is.


Both Guyana and LIs have been the minnows of the the FC competition as teams!

In this game Beaton bowled well and even if their was one over left at the end of the day the Captain should use pace and not spin.

Any opening batsman would prefer spin for the last two overs rather than your main bowler.

Let us hope the Guyanan Captain learns....
