I don't think that the President acted within the constitutional framework. What is really funny is that the PPPC has embraced a constitution, many parts of which they deemed un-democratic when they were the opposition. There is no doubt in the mind of any sane Guyanese that parts of the current constitution was strategically crafted by the "genius" LFS Burnham to endow upon himself limitless and unchallenged powers in event of occurrences like this one in question.
