India 363 for 5 (Dhawan 113, Rahane 111) beat Sri Lanka 194 (Jayawardene 43, Ishant 4-34) by 169 runs

This is a stop gap unplanned series where Sri Lanka came to make pocket money because West Indians abandoned the matches and series due to their own quarrel with WI Cricket Board.. Sri Lanka is treating this series as a practice series as they themselves said that they are more serious to get well prepared for their English series. After all cricket is a money spinning business.

Judging by the first ODI it certainly looks as though Sri Lanka are just going through the motions here. India's 363 was the fifth highest ODI total by any team against Sri Lanka.
