I would put the blame for starting this fiasco on Hinds, but Cameron decided to be heavy handed without thinking of the consequences, and that is why the BCCI blames the WICB, it's because all they had to do was say yes to the old MOU or even say let's discuss this on the week between the ODI and tests. Instead they flat out refused to talk to the players and gave them the ultimatum, sign contract blindly or go home. If this goes to court, how will the WICB explain trying to get players to work under conditions that they haven't even read?
Cameron in a just released statement has accepted that the WICB is indeed liable for the amount that is asked for by the BCCI and is now making arrangements to pay .
They will pay one hundred dollars a week until the debt is paid in full .
Cameron further stated that no one can claim that the WICB do not honor their obligations .

Let Courts Decide now. Don`t think this be so simple as painted by BCCI. After all WICB offered another team & team have regulars like Shiv, Braithwaite & others & they are 1st preference for Test matches which were cancelled. Am sure BCCI was not demanding players like Bravo, Pollard etc for Test...

bigplop,
Fans do not pay to see a 1st team play a second team, do they?
The WICB should have resolved the dispute instead of circumventing it.

WICB already Bankrupt how they gonna afford that, atleast its not the original 64 mil they threatened...silver linings right....

and you believed they were going to payback BCCI..??
WICB will plead with the BCCI to retract that suing.
and thats it they will revert to their original ways.

Mr Chairman, please leave our beloved PM away from this mess created by WI players. He has many things to set right here.

We all know that our PM is interested in Cricket. He would have heard abut the precious situation of WICB by now.
