Leon Johnson honoured by GCC

West Indies batsman Leon Johnson, who recently became the 300th cricketer to play for the West Indies in the 500th test match played by the regional side, was last night honoured by the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) following his debut against Bangladesh in the second test in Gros Islet, St Lucia September 13-17.

Good on GCC : Leon did well last September in the TEST matches of the A team in India.

he left 2 tons there including an 86 *

Well good for him and the GCC. Great initiative to make the young players feel like they are appreciated and their efforts are not in vain. Johnson looked good in the match he played and so I think he is one for the future. I hope he gets more opportunities to play at the highest level.
