No Shiv? IDK. Like I get it if you had someone hella better - but hey, Samuels is still there. I don't even know what he gotta do to get dropped.

No Vision in this squad Selection.

Oh well : the more things change the more they remain the same !

IPL and CPL  20 over seems to have influenced this 50 Over Format  :-[

Nobody with a functioning brain cell can honestly say that Lendl Simmons, Marlon Samuels, Darren Bravo, Dwayne Bravo, Leon Johnson, Kieron Pollard, etc, etc can bat better than Shiv in onedayers.

* Remember folks, Shiv has not retired from any version of cricket. He was dropped for ODIs and T20s.

* I can understand Shiv not being played in T20s-----but to omit him from onedayers is foolishness.

SHIV ONE DAY STATS:

Quote:In 268 ODI matches Shiv has scored 8778 runs at an average of 41.60 and a strike rate of 70.76 and has scored 11 hundreds and 59 fifties.

* Looking forward to see India and South Africa clobber the West Indies in the onedayers.

They should select these players, play them in this order, and tell them all to play T20 style:

Andre Russell - cowlash like mad
Lendl Simmons - take your time then cowlash like mad
Dwayne Smith - cowlash like mad
Darren Bravo - will crack under pressure
Dwayne Bravo - can milk singles
Ramdin - can milk singles
Kieron Pollard - cow lash like mad
Jason Holder - cow lash like mad
Sunil Narine - cow lash like mad
Ravi Rampaul - cow lash like mad
Kemar Roach - cow lash like mad
