Nobody is ungrateful. All talk of strike rates and batting styles comes from people who are "defending" Shiv from imaginary attacks which nobody on this forum even brings up.

In the last tour of India and NZ, nobody was complaining about strike rates. Everybody was criticising every WI player but Shiv for batting absolutely crap. In this Bangladeshi series, Shiv has also been routinely praised. It was only in the first innings of the first test of this series that everyone rightfully pointed out that Shiv was batting too slow given the situation. Since then, Rev and Ketchim have been throwing hyperbole and insinuating that everyone on this forum is some kind of demented, racist, hypocritical Shiv hater.

Now we have some kind of Shiv-forum arms race going, some posting threads exalting Shiv, whilst the "Shiv haters" jokingly make absurd threads to poke fun at the insecurity of the pro-Shiv threads. All the while, people are ignoring the fact that Darren Bravo cant bat.

Could not have said it better.

They are bona fide HATERS !

Shiv fans dont post insecure threads : quite the opposite , actually :

they throw stones , rocks and boulders !

People like Chin, Gong, Mail and Maps love Shiv deeply. They just like riling you up.

The comment was made, as many reasonable people did, on day 2 of the first test when his strike rate was a pathetic 29.

Describing a star batsman as pathetic on Day 2 of a Win with 1 day to spare on Day 5 :
