Lara's average for WI is 53, I think, same as Tendy. That 52 average takes into account 2 or 3 mixed country games (for the World XI i think).

Long time since I've seen the name Miandad. He's so underrated, and arguably Pak's  best.

How silly to let Gabriel face 3 balls from the seamer so no one to be blamed but himself. However, as you would say Rev, he gets one of his treasured not outs.


That said I would have liked Shiv to have reached his 6k at home.


He is now 7th on the list of most runs scored after the age of 35 with a 65 average better than all on the list and has scored those runs second quickest to get there by some margin.

* Guess you are not following the game.

* Shiv allowed Gabriel to face 2 balls off Al-Amin---not 3----he blocked one and was bowled the by last ball in the over.

My apologies Rev for inadvertently adding one extra ball so thanks for pointing this out in your very polite manner.


Two balls were two too many and he should have aimed to get a single of the last ball.


Shiv has been atrocious with the tail enders but I noted today he shielded Benn from the seamers.


Shiv really should have been celebrating his 31st century today.
