Lookit Folks , my Dad always reminded me :

"What Great men do , the LESS will prattle of "    Wink

Twelfth Night → Act 1, Scene 2, Page 2

VIOLA
Orsino. I’ve heard my father mention him. When I first heard about him, he was still a bachelor.

CAPTAIN
And so is now, or was so very late.
For but a month ago I went from hence,
And then ’twas fresh in murmur—as, you know,
What great ones do the less will prattle of—
That he did seek the love of fair Olivia.

I have seen some of the  Caribbean players  Hunte , Kanhai, Sobers , Butcher , Solomon, Nurse , Hall , Griffith , Charlie Davis ,
Camacho , etc play test cricket .....in Comparison to Paint and Shiv ...a large difference looms .

They didn't poke and block ....
YOU ARE A PATHOLOGICAL LIAR CHIN.

THESE STRIKE RATES WILL EXPOSE YOUR LIES.

* Hunte's STRIKE RATE was 39.10

* Charlie Davis STRIKE RATE was 35.48

* Solomon's STRIKE RATE was 24.41

YOU ARE FREE TO HATE ON SHIV---but I'll expose you as a BIG LIAR Chin----Shiv's STRIKE RATE of 43 is higher than those 3 above.

And by the way, Kahnai, Butcher and Nurse had STRIKE RATES not much higher than Shiv----their strike rates ranged from 47-49.

If Faz wants entertainment let him go visit one of dem places in tunapuna that provides entertainment ....this is test cricket.  Not a place for the mentally weak!  Tongue

Well the batting was slow but no need for the overreaction by Fazier. If he wants to see entertaining cricket all the time then maybe he should only commentate in ODI and T20. This is test cricket and occupying the crease even when not scoring is important. Bangladesh is a perfect team to practice occupying the crease on.

Quote:comfortable position of 264 for three in the first innings

really Faz?  You can say that with a straight face about THIS WI team??  How many times have they not been at the so called "comfortable" position just to be all out 50 runs later??!!!

Its easy to sit down and make these armchair predictions AFTER the game has progressed....where was your voice BEFORE that?

Remember when Chanderpaul scored 10 off 2 balls against Lanka to win a lost cause? Shiv has a swashbuckling side of him. I hope he shares it a few more times before he retires.

Look he was hoping for the young man at the other end to make another 200 and wanted to be there to help him

Maybe PieBus can reinstate him to ODI cricket.

Until such time, he PLAYS the perfect 5 day format to perfection !

Given the XI he represents..... Wink
