"There was no movement through the air, a hint of spin, but not a great deal and they just lost their fight.

"As soon as (opener Gautam) Gambhir got out it was almost as if they dangled a white flag from the dressing-room and that is unacceptable from an international side."

I thought we were gong to tackle it with ease, but never did i,in my wildest dreams imagine that we would crumble again.
It was far worse than just pathetic, had they atleast put up a fight i would have loved it.
This series is lost and we never can win a test series abroad..ELUSIVE ONE/..!!

It was a wrong batting approach !! : blame the Coaches and Consultants.

They needed to stay there, occupy the crease and wait on the rain.

Instead , they were all out " advancing down the pitch "

including MS ....

This is an 'unfortunate but true' kind of deal right here. Vaughn is kicking the Indoans when they are down, but nothing he has said is untrue. India have only themselves to blame. They could not last out two sessions with inclement weather around.

What amazes me here is none of them were wlling to leave the ball, either nick or get an edge.Anderson bowling with verve, should first be unsettled an then played, rather than straightaway attacking..
They made Moeen look like Muralitharan in this test match..Pathetic...
Had Broad been there,we would have collapsed to an under 100 score...Thanks to you broad,fo saving the humiliation.

Sachin coming out of retirement to help them

Would take Rahul and VVS as well ....

this XI need a lot more focus....

When MS packs it inย  ......it is not a pretty picture !

So true. They just gave up. They figured the game was lost and decided to smash out at everything. Given the forecast for rain all Sunday it just didn't make any sense. There was no Broad and Anderson was under the weather. Woakes and Jordan shouldn't put any fear in any batsman and despite Moeen's recent success, he isn't a world class spinner.
