Farokh Engineer believes Boonie and the ICC should share in the blame.

I remember the fifth Test at the WACA well. While looking for the scorecard for this match I came across a fantastic bit of prose written by Mike Selvey in the Guardian the day following the Test: “there was an entire table full of trophies for Ambrose — Player of the Match, Player of the Series, International Cricketer of the Year.  Only a Nobel Prize eluded him, and a new mantelpiece to take home would have been useful.”

Has that been confirmed as literally what Anderson said to Jadeja? He deserved far more than what he'd got then. At least equal fine as Jadeja anyway.

he was,but not to the extreme end.There might have been a small tiff that Anderson escalated into a big one.
He surely wouldn't say something just like that..
Maybe,Anderson should have refrained from verbal abuse.He could have dealt with this better than this.

It is like the Indians are not capable of being arrogant and aggressive.

Jimmy is a grump but there must have been some altercation.

Just to follow up on this. The ICC have decided not to appeal the decision, stating that "[t]his outcome is the result of two exhaustive and thorough disciplinary processes and, after considering the written decision, the ICC is satisfied with the manner in which the decisions have been reached."
