England have built themselves a great platform to build upon as they close the day on 247/2. Ballance 104* and Bell 16*.

Some people are talking about this Cook 95 as if it’s won England the series. It hasn’t even won them a Test. That’s what matters

#23
As long as we do not squander this good start, this could be an interesting test.

Shame Cooky could not manage his ton but good to see him score a big 50.

I am looking for a big one from my man Bell, hie is due.

Come on England!!!!!

Good innings from cook to prove his critics wrong, but as the @ The Chairman
said,it hasn't even won them a test.maybe this pitch is flat like the one in first test.
247/2..
Day 2 begins in another 15 minutes..Tongue
Hope India wrap them up within 450.

#25
258/2 and England going strong.
India shouldn't lose hope here,1-2 wickets and it will all fall in a heap,at least that is what we are hoping for, hope it happens.
Pankaj nearly had bell, but a thick outside edge went past the slip cordon...close shave indeed..!!

300 up for England. England are starting to push the score along, scoring 44 in the last 10 overs. Ballance 132* and Bell 40*

#27
Ballance out for 156. England 355/3. Bell 67* Root 0*

#28
Great to see Belly get his ton. So fine to watch ink full flow.

550 and give India 50 minute before the close and fire galore.

150 for Ian Bell, he enjoys batting against India. Third score above 150 against them. 489 for 5.

#30
Buttler brings up the 500 with a straight six off Jadeja. Then reverse-sweeps him for four to move into the 40s
