Those "some people" are entirely imaginary people used to justify a feeling of victimization. West Indians see Shiv as a loveable workhorse. That is all. Nobody cares one iota about those stats.

The Shiv haters only exist online and they only care about one thing: Shiv batting for not outs and not farming the tail. And these people criticise the hell out of all other West Indian players to a much greater extent, as any sensible person would do, so singling "these people" out as "prejudicial" and "biased" is rediculous.
