* Shiv Chanderpaul has scored 11,374 runs in tests at an average of 52.17 with 29 100s and 63 50s

* Those are, indeed, great numbers.

* BUT SHIV STILL HAS SOME LEARNING TO DO.

* And in the current test match in Trinidad, Shiv can learn from NZ batsmen how to play spin proficiently.

* NOTICE HOW THE NZ BATSMEN ARE USING THEIR BATS AND THEIR FEET.

* Shiv was dismissed in his last 2 innings by leg spinner Sodhi using his pad instead of his bat.

* ONE IS NEVER TOO OLD TO LEARN.

* Hope Shiv learns in time for the Barbados test.

* Getting out LBW twice in a row to the same bowler(Ish Sodhi) using his pads instead of his bat is a disgrace for a very good batsman like Shiv.

SPINNER BENN STRIKES

NZ 84/2

Latham c Brathwaite b Benn 36

* There was some serious bounce there.

* Shiv will have to learn from the other NZ batsmen how to play spin. ;D

Benn has produced one of the nine deliveries West Indies need.

This is short of a length, and explodes from the rough,ย  :-[

towards Latham's chest. It is turning in towards off so he has to play at it.

And it lobs off the glove, it seems.

Latham has walked although I will be interested in seeing if the ball hit the glove strap or his arm

* There will be a lot of "exploding from the rough" on day 5.

NZ 85/2

* Can they get to 350 on this wicket ?

* That would be a lead of 111.

* Can WI score 111 on an exploding wicket on day 5 ? ;D
