Both Deo and Sars test careers are over!  Stick a pitchfork in them!  Tongue

We have seen Blackwood bat and you all still clambouring for Gayle? Gayle makes runs once every 9-15 innings. He is too unreliable. He needs to go.

And besides, right now, Blackwood, Simmons, Gayle, Pollard, Leon and Dwayne Bravo are contesting the SAME SPOT. You can pick only one.

Blackwood shaped up well and did not seem out of place.

* Blackwood has potential. He is a work in progress.

* Pollard will never be a test player.

* Dwayne Bravo is a proven failure in tests----31+ avg in 40 tests.

* Simmons has also failed.

So drop Gayle for Blackwood?

* Why drop Gayle ?

* Didn't he make a fifty in the Jamaica test ?

* Anyway---Brathwaite  has replaced Powell

* And Blackwood has replaced Samuels.

* Both Brathwaite and Blackwood have done well at QPO.

* There is no place for Dwayne Bravo unless the WI are prepared to have a proven test failure(31 avg in 40 tests) back in the team.

==============

* By the way, in the current team, Kemar Roach and Shannon Gabriel are weak links.

I mean, would you move Blackwood up the order and Gayle down? Gayle stays as opener?

Personally, I'd drop Gayle from the test team. To me, Gayle has looked messy and out of form for the last year. I'll reserve judgement for the culmination of the next test, though. And he might make a good counterpoint to Paint.

What do you think of Carlos Brathwaite?

Why select any player and bring a substitute on at the start of the game.

Gayle did score a laboured 50 in Jamaica but Blackwood looks ok at 6 except it would have been an asset if he could bowl!

I am sure Big Bravo will return and hope Barath gets his act together and return to partner Brathers!

* Gayle seems to be carrying some kind of injury----he failed in the IPL----and he is failing in the current test series.

* If Gayle fails in Barbados he may very well be dropped.

* One thing the WI should not do is drop Gayle down the order.

* Blackwood should remain at #6 for the time being

* Edwards #3, Bravo #4, Shiv #5, Blackwood #6

RE: CARLOS

* I haven't seen enough of him to have a strong opinion----but his first class stats are OK.

* In 22 first class matches---Carlos has taken 57 wickets at a 20.63 average---2 five wkt haul.

* I would play Carlos or Holder ahead of Gabriel.

A WI win coming up.

Do we bring in Narine for next game or is Benn doing well? Is Narine better than Benn?

Do we replace Gabriel, and if so, with who? I vote Holder or Fidel.
