Thanks everyone for your kind words.

Nani lived a long live.  She brought up 11 children, 5 girls and 6 girls.  Her husband died when she was in her 40s and she lost her eldest son during the same time.  My mom is her eldest daughter and yours truly is her eldest grand child.  She is survived by 9 children (she lost another son about 10 years ago), many grans, great grans and great great grand children.

God Bless Nanee for raising such a large family - she did her job on earth.

she reminds me of my own mom - dad died when she was 42 and left her with 10 kids, the youngest being 1-yr old.

these are very strong women and surprisingly they rear very strong children.
