Iraq open to U.S. airstrikes against militants

Iraq's government indicates a willingness for U.S. forces to conduct airstrikes against Islamist militants who have taken over Mosul and almost all of Tikrit, a U.S. official says

President Obama seems only to pledge airstrikes against the insurgency. He vows never to return using troops. However, I don't trust the CIA. They probably have people there stirring things up against the insurgency. They are afraid al-Qaeda will take over Baghdad.
