These groundsmen need to learn how to maintain a fast, bouncy pitch. You can't just roll and wet the night before. You need to be monitoring the grass every day, twice a day, and cutting and rolling for months before each game. Only then will you get a real cricket pitch.

Oh boy - if you're gonna get dem pitches pacy and bouncy, then you're in for a treat from Boult and Southee - even Anderson would chime in. I do love myself a fiery, WACA-esque bouncy pitch - but that wouldn't work to your advantage. Slow pitch with some turn is the way to go IMO.

If the WI pick the right fast bowlers they will cause problems for NZ.
Even though Best was fast he bowled crap and then there was Sammy who was slower than molasses.
