You  cannot issue an NOC and ignore the date of the FINAL.

it is silly quite frankly !

June 1st should be June 3 or even 2nd.

No they are far from "clear". The board gave him NOC clearance, which they shouldn't have if they saw a potential issue with it. Now that they have, and KKR is in the final, he can't just leave them like that. There are alternatives, there is no need for such ludicrously senseless practice. Reminds me of homeworkgate.

What are the conditions of the NOC?

If the NOC says where there is a series clashing then etc, etc.

I would agree with Ramesh that national teams should take precedents especially as he is a centrally contracted player.

I think it is important for the players to spend time together prior to series as it is a good exercise for bonding and working together.

The rules are the rules, applicable to all and they should be adhered to.

However because of the occasion, common sense should have prevailed and allow a another couple of days.

It seems illogical for the WICB to move the date from May to June when the date of the final was known in advance!

The WICB need to be careful they do not piss off the Indian sponsors and the BCCI.

This is ridiculous, while issuing the NOC,they knew that the final was on june 1st.All of a sudden, you call up and ask him to be present on that day...damn man...its silly of the WICB.Narine should stick to his club for now until the dates are revised, which i hope will be.

Narine missing the West Indies Training Camp? That camp only good for picking up two things: herpes and bad bowling actions.
