Guyana :Sound, Soul and Taste !

       

For the very first time, the fusion of the six different cultures that make up the :

Guyanese social tapestry will be brought together, reflecting a true melting pot

of the Guyanese identity. 8)


This event is slated to take place at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence:

from August 8-10, 2014.

A cultural perfomance by an Indian tassa group and African drummers.   8)

Praise must be given to Forbes Burnham for blending the cultures of the different races in Guyana.
He gave us Carifiesta, mashramani and the Umana yana 

and that handsome statue , Cuffy ! 

and replaced that beautiful international Horse Race track .....

and burn down that old Water Street ...
