West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo feels he deserves a spot in the Test team after his efforts in limited overs formats, and hopes selectors will come to their senses about his talents.
Bravo, one of the stars of the T20 side in particular, has played 40 Tests for the Windies, but none since facing Sri Lanka in 2010. His efforts were average all round, but he feels the side's current woes leave a space for him to return.
Bravo, currently nursing a shoulder injury picked up in the IPL, told Line and Length: "To be honest I was very disappointed that I was not able to make the Test squad within that time [since 2010]
On current form Dwayne should be selected in the test team ahead of his brother Darren.
It remains to be seen if he will recover from his injury in time for selection.

For sure. Is he doing good in FC cricket, I think I might have lost track.
But yeah, agree either way it's pretty much a straightforward pick - him anyday over Sammy in Tests, I mean it's bloody obvious.
Heck - I think you could still kick out one of the deadwoods and squeeze him, if selectors are too tired to throw scammy out.
[quote author=Calypso link=topic=89270.msg561909#msg561909 date=1399202680] Sammy & Bravo together in Test Team !!!! :o
Selectors don't have the gumption to tell Bravo it ain't gonna happen :-[

Well ideally I'd give Sammy the axe. But IF they're hesitant coz Sammy's captain (god knows why) and whatnot, then still you can get someone else out - it's not as if there's hefty competition there, let's face it.
He does deserve a place in the team, but sadly that won't happen until sammy is there.I would love it sammy is taken off the reins of captaincy, they should replace him soon,he isn't fit to lead..!!
I feel sad for Bravo though,he deserves a chance..!!
