He should enrol in Night studies to at least get an undergraduate BA or BSc..

That is not even enuff in the Insurance industry .

You gotta have a graduate MBA and their own designation to become a Director !

he has other priorities in his life......son, wife, house.....and is quite content for now!!
starts his new job on april 28th

but since he got hired he has been taking courses which are related to his field (fully paid for by the company)

remember this : IF in a downturn , Company has to lay off :

The non Uni folks go first.

I wanna stress that a Uni education is not only to get a JOB :

BUT to make you a well rounded and knowledgeable Citizen of the World !

not always the case though...
they just went through that at one of their satellite offices which was closed......many with uni degrees were let go.....he and a few others were kept on!!

you have to give non-union companies credit for recognizing......ability, maturity and hard work!

I used that strategy with a small company I was consulting with !

The owners insisted on that ...i knew it was a dumb approach !

you see the thing is Ketch.....one has to know one's child!

and where our son is right now is beyond our expectations (you can say he was a bad-boy!!  Sad .....yes, our son a bad-boy  :o )

so i am extremely proud!!

The gist of this Global action on Education :

is NOT to make a Parent less proud of their thir non graduates Children.

BUT to encourage education as a means to improve the Economy:

via Thinkers , Innovators and Inventors :

something which an undergraduate and graduate programs prepare you for .

Nowhere Else .  Wink
