so let me share some memories. So my brother is star runner for Berbice high. i am going To BEI. BHS is our biggest rival. BHS is the team to beat. I am at the new amsterdam inter school championships. 880 race starts . right away i notice bunny is in this race. There goes school allegiance i am rootin for my brother. well of course he wins.

Yonkers, New York---Jagdeshwar (Jagdesh) Mohunlall, 59, died March 30, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital following a heart attack.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 5 from 9:30-10:30a.m. at Flynn Memorial Home , 325 S. Broadway, Yonkers, New York . Burial will be following the service at My. Hope Cemetery, Jackson Ave and Saw Mill River Rd in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. The family will receive visitors at viewings on Thursday, April 3 and Friday, April, 4 from 5-9p.m as well as one hour prior to the service on Saturday at Flynn Memorial.
Jagdesh, son of Seegoormee and Mohanlall Baisakhu, was born in Cumberland, Guyana on February 17, 1955. He graduated from Berbice High School in 1972. First emigrating to Canada, he attended Shaw College in Toronto, then Baruch college where he received his B.A in accounting. He then joined the rest of his family in New York City where he received his MBA St John's University and became a Certified Public Accountant.
In 1979, Jagdesh married Lalita Totaram formerly of No. 64 Village. Jagdesh and Lalita had three children, Andrew Mohunlall , Amelia S. Mohunlall and Anthony Mohunlall .
Jagdesh was employed in the 1980's with the New York State Comptroller's office as an auditor. Subsequently, he started his own accounting business with offices in Yonkers and Queens as well as the Hollywood Real Estate Institute and YDK driving School in Queens, New York.
In addition to his wife of 34 years and children, Jagdesh is survived by his mother, three brothers Roop Mohunlall, Ft. lauderdale, Fl; Krishna (Vedo) Mohunlall , Suffern, NY; Roger (Sharmila) Mohanlall, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl; and two sisters, Lily (Randy) Bengfort, Columbia, MD; and Kisti (Vickram) Jagannath.
Preceding him in death was his infant son Andrew and father.
Known for his easy-going, quiet and caring demeanor, Jagdesh was an active member of the business and cultural communities. Although he loved his adopted home and country, he loved Guyana and was an active member of the Guyanese community in New York and led many cultural and civic activities. He was President of the Indo-Caribbean Federation of New York for 10 consecutive years and a continuing Board member. He was loved by all who met him and was a friend to many. He was a remarkable husband , father, brother, son, and friend , and both an American and Guyanese patriot. He was surely born a Hindu and died a Hindu as he said. He will be sorely missed .

my mom is taking it hard. he is her boy. funeral saturday we have to wait for family and friends from around the world.
