Man I love plantains too, fried green plantains, fried ripe plantains & boiled ripe plantains! Hmmmm delish!!

me too Niagre!
last w/e I made chicken soup with plantain and some sweet-potato.......and now my daughter is bugging me to give her the 'recipe'.....as if any older guyanese  cooks from a recipe!!

some of my famo have gone to guyana and the only thing i ask for (cause i don't get it in canada) is 8 tuke-tuku plantains (this is the young plantains).  I usually boil it down and chunkay it like i do dhall.
