New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor and his wife Victoria have welcomed a baby boy.
Taylor, who missed the second Test against India in Wellington on Friday because his wife was due to give birth, confirmed the news on Twitter on Sunday morning while expressing joy. (Brendon McCullum's ton frustrates India)
"Jonty Luteru Taylor born 16 Feb 3.06am. Mum and Jonty doing well," Taylor tweeted. The New Zealand cricket team tweeted "congrats all, well played" in response.
Taylor also has a baby daughter with his wife, who was born in September 2011.
The Kiwi batsman was bought by the Delhi Daredevils for Rs 2 crore in the 2014 IPL players' auction after initially going unsold.
