Yes they have started well and closed today almost 500 runs with 3 wickets left so yes they are playing well but a mullering is still on the cards mate.

Sadly with Amla departing just before the close of play, I fear the Saffers will lose this one and the series 2-1.
I have to give credit to the Aussies for playing really well. Their batting which I was concerned about proved to be reliable enough and their real weapon was Johnson.
I do not think anyone, bar Aussies, would have thought the Aussies would have done as well as they have.
Predictions aside one has to appreciate the context and what was meant to be the Aussies weakness, batting, has come good.
Johnson has been the difference and the Saffers has been plagued with injuries but no excuses.
It is unlikely the Saffers will survive the last 15 and 2-1 to the Aussies would be deserved.
However just seeing the best of the Aussies, their nasty behaviour, when the TV umpire adjudged Philander not out. That poor attitude is why very few, if any, non Aussies dislike them.
