I had mentioned that my mom had to face many oppression from my dad's side family, this is not something that my mom would tell us at the time, it was a observation that we had observe. Many of times she cries silently...

However, her oppressors were mostly women, ironically , while some women can be saints and good. some can be evil.


I really love kyla for her motherly nature.

Kyla is a good person, I wish more people like Kyla was around at the time, when my mom was facing hardship.

In that respect Rani my mom was fortunate.......my dad was an only child (he actually had one sister who died in child-birth when she was only 18 yrs old  Sad  so none of us ever saw her).

it happens in many east indian families. the daughter in law is a slave in her new home.

Yeah IN Guyana back in the days, especially if the marriage were arranged.

no, it wasn't like that , because my dad was around. it was after he passed away.

and now I learning about most of the trauma she undertook. , which sucks.  ::confused::
