deo has not improved since he scored what shud have been an establishing 82 in Oz. he does not engender confidence... often plays ridiculous shots to get after getting starts.
his bowling is much more useful and gives a much better feeling of him than his batting. but his place is as a batsman first.

Oh come on, they guy scored a 50 last game and picked 2 wickets. Why wouldn't he be okay?
It'd be really messed up if he gets dropped next match - he should get an extended run.
