* Shiv(10,963) needs to score 212 runs to surpass Alan Border(11,174) and become the 6th highest scorer in test cricket.

* Shiv will then have his eyes set on Lara(11,953) who is in the #5 position.

* Shiv(43 not outs) needs 1 NOT OUT to tie Alan Border(44) for the 2nd most NOT OUTS by a batsman in tests---SWaugh holds the record for most Not Outs with 46.

* Shiv(89) needs 2 scores of fifty or more to surpass Alan Border(90) in the #5 position in terms of most scores over fifty.

* Shiv(781 runs) needs 270 runs to surpass Chris Gayle(1050 runs) as the highest West Indies run scorer in tests against New Zealand.

* Shiv needs 2 hundreds to become the 11th batsman in history to score 30 test hundreds.

* The 212 needed to surpass Border should be achievable.

* But can Shiv score 270 to surpass Gayle as the highest WI run scorer against NZ ?

* That's impossible!

* Chairman spent nearly a lifetime trying to gain membership into the exclusive Elite Sushi Cub(ESC).

* No way chairman could be a veggie

* Once you get into the club---you never get out. ;D ha ha ha

Shivnarine Chanderpaul needs 37 runs to reach 11,000, has 150 Test caps :

the rest of West Indies' squad has 260 between them.

The Shivster will be one of three survivors from the 2008 Test between these sides at University Oval ;

along with Ross Taylor and Brendon McCullum

The Shivster is the most experienced cricketer in the world today. That's a unique distinction held by very few cricketers. The last man to hold that title(most experienced in the world) was Sachin Tendulkar.

QUESTION:

Who prior to Sachin held the title of most experienced cricketer in the world ?

Maybe Steve Waugh.
