look here!  there would have to be great an over-riding advantage to batting second and fourth in a test match to make me choose to do so.

the fourth innings in a test is historically the worst innings to have to bat out.  most teams bating last lose or hang on for dear life.

don't bat last if you can avoid it.  always save that for your opponents
