Is this the end of an era for a Great Indian Batsman, and also, hopefully, the end of an era of a Woefully Incompetent West Indian Team? Well done Tendulkar.
I hope he doesn't end up like Eric Hollies in that regard, just known for ruining Bradman's 100 average, and nothing much otherwise.
Murali is the only lucky one in that regard, I mean the guy got exactly 800 wickets in his last test, bowled out India while doing that and SL won the match. Fairy tale ending and whatnot. Would've been nice though, had sachin been able to ton up.

Yeah, really - I mean given the mess, although you meant tongue in cheek, really seems that Deo is probably the less worst option. I'm not convinced by Narine in tests AT ALL. Ridiculous, but I guess this might end up being true :/

Neither am I .... as batsmen given the duration of Test Cricket will soon figure him out as opposed to the pressure to score quickly and under pressure in T/20 and even ODI's.
He'll soon get called out in Tests for pelting the faster ball ......
