As far as I know Hashim Amla will be back for the third ODI, as will Dale Steyn. Whether that's enough to solve our batting problems I'm not sure. At least we won't have as many left handed batsmen, which the commentators seem to regard as a problem against the current Pakistani bowling attack.

Yes, he returned home because his wife was expecting their second child. I didn't read anything about the birth or the gender of the child, but as he's back with the team, I presume everything is well.
