Children are being urged to take back their "wild time" :

swapping 30 minutes of screen use for outdoor activities

The call to renew a connection with nature comes from a collaboration of almost 400 organisations.

The Wild Network wants children to take up activities like conkers and camping.

The organisers argue that swapping 30 minutes of television and computer games each day for

outdoor play would increase the levels of fitness and alertness and improve children's well-being !

Gravity was awesome Bro.  The best flick of 2013 for me.  But you have to see it in IMAX 3D to really appreciate it.

that's why i always take the boys to the park when they visit
and along with their parents because you need lots of bodies when we go.....to the conservation area for nature walks (which is exactly 10 mins walk from my house)

we have one planned for this coming saturday.....hopefully there will still be nice colourful leaves on the trees!
