I hate to be on the same side as Ramesh but how is it possible for someone to be found guilty of ball tampering but then ruled that it was not deliberate .
Whether you shoved the ball in your mouth as in Alfridi case or rubbing it on your crotch as in Du Pless,, ball tampering is ball tampering and there should be no double standard where one is fined and the other is fined and suspended
No one with a straight face can say that that race does not play a huge part in in ICC disciplinary proceedings,

The PCB has rightly sought clarification from the ICC on the inconsistency, citing Afridi's ban and I have to agree.
The question is, did the WICB present similar concerns to the ICC about Ramdin?
What amazes me is that Faf has admitted guilt and therefore that , to me anyway, demonstrates an intention to cheat. Afridi showed intent as I do not know any cricketers who have mistakenly bitten a ball. So the punishment should be similar.

There is a question of the legitimacy of the wickets prior to the ball being changed.
This test should in all fairness be declared null and void . When the Pakistanis were bowled for less than a hundred which is a result of ball tampering , how is it possible that this result can be allowed to stand when an unfair advantage is on the Protease side through crookery ?
