Tamil actresses say ‘no’ to bikini

In an age where actresses are shedding their inhibitions and proudly following the 'if you've got it, flaunt it' mantra, mana top K-town actresses have their own reservations about donning a bold avatar. Though upping the glam quotient has become a significant part of films, there some leading ladies who aren't too keen on sporting bikinis. Kajal, Samantha and Tamannah are a few who share this reservation.

After being tagged as an actress with a 'golden leg' in T-town, Samantha is now a rage in Tamil and Telugu film industries, thanks to her sensual roles in films. Recently, there were rumours that the beauty queen will be seen sporting a bikini in one of her upcoming Telugu films. But the petite actor rubbished all hearsay by taking to her micro-blogging site and setting the record straight. "If you have watched my films, you wouldn't need me to tell you that me sporting a bikini in my next is just a rumour. Put this to rest," Samantha posted on her Twitter page. The actress has been part of big budget films, but has not donned a swimwear in any of her films. Apart from her current Telugu films, the Neethane En Ponvasantham actress is slated to do Vijay's next film with Murugadoss and Suriya's movie with Lingusamy.
