" I Have A Dream " : 50th anniversary

in grade 8 my son won a public speaking competition at this school and his subject matter was MLK.

his opening lines was a quote of parts of the 'i have a dream' speech]

he had his audience riveted.....kids and adults alike, because after lots and lots of practice he sounded almost exactly like MLK, plus the 99% white kids in the school had no idea who MLK was!!

The best speech of all time. I'm really proud to be black, wouldn't have it any other way. We have come a long way as a people.
