i read their talking about 30-34K

which is not bad - but I would like to know what I get for that price and how much do i have to add on

It's basically just below the C class range in terms of price.  And generally speaking if you want the premium toys (Sat Nav, leather interior etc) then you'll have to add them on as options as the base models are usually pretty bare.

From the reviews I've seen it looks to be a solid car.  I'm partial to BMWs but a good Benz still offers up the best of German engineering.

i dont think the add ons will be that bad

i dont use GPS - so i couldnt care about that - but bluetooth and a good stereo system is all i require....with auto everything and the controls on my steering wheel.

thats all i want

Sounds like a 'baby' Merc to me ....... not in the big boys range if you have to add on all the bits & pieces
