* Shiv had scored 8778 runs in onedayers at an average of 41.60 and a strike rate of 70.76 with 11 hundreds and 59 fifties, and Otis booted him from the oneday team.
* GOOD RIDDANCE TO OTIS.

* Shiv should now concentrate 100% on tests----he needs 586 more runs for 12,000 and he needs to maintain his 50+ test average.

sub total = 1.2 million : U.S $$$$
AND a settlement for early termination of a 3 year Contract ....

Well Otis Gibson deserved to be fired. He has earned a lot so I don't think he minds very much. 1.2 million USD to be the West Indies coach while not performing is astounding. What would it take for a person like me to be the coach? lol.

Today is a very happy day and hopefully this is the beginning of a new era for West Indies cricket.
Any other coachi would have either been sacked before or would have had the integrity to resign.
How many meaningful and long wanted changes you have had since RP took over?

Exactly. Otis lost jack. He's gotten far far more than he's deserved - which would be nothing. Perhaps minimum wage since everyone deserves to be paid even for a shitty job.
They're better off without a coach.

Err did they say that they'd coach WI for free? IF they decide to assume coach's role, WICB better pay them the reasonable fee.
I'm not sure about Ramdin being a coach either tbh.
