Not really but ..... I see Gary Kirsten, Tom Moody among others are interested while Giles is the front runner.

I would go for a complete change and not choose Giles.  After all he oversaw the ODI and Twenty/20 and those results were dreadful.

I would probably go for Kirsten given his success with IND and SA but I'm surprised that he's even interested as his reason for leaving both was to spend more time with his family in SA.

I recall some of my early experience of racism was the use in those terms.

you must have seen a moving picture of a mail sperm swimming in search of a female egg to fertilize it Mail.  what is it.. a tadpole..a bacteria-like entity

you must have seen the time lapse movie of  human conception and progress to parturition in which the human embryo goes through many phases..bacterial, amphibian, reptile then finally mammal and out into the world..

what doe that tell you man  that from the microscopic to the large is the way things go..and the microscopic is the basis of all things..and it all evolves by mutations all  along the way.

so what does that tell us..that we were originally bacteria..that all things were.  there is a trillion times more of them than we.  and they wanted to eat s there is nutten to stop .  that we have a symbiotic relationship with most of Them tells us what..that that is where we are from..ALLLLLLL OF US..ALL LIFE ON THE PLANET.

so you see borse!  all humans from the same place no matter how far back you go.  we are the same thng.  and if you want an explanation of  racism it is right there in front of you...why it began cause...who did it, where the did it i.e planed it out and effected it. etc.

racism is a tool used by the capitalist to divide and rule.  it is the most effective way they found to keep ordinary black and white people apart..both of which groups were brought to american as slaves in the earlies..the majority of white settlers.  slaves too. 

well... these combined in the new world to make revolutions against the english elites and england.  you see  blacks and whites started off working with each other against the dominant elites.  if you know your history of the americas you would know how revolutionary it was from the start.  racism was the effective tool they found to separate white from black

but for it to most effective they had to give white people a decent deal.  so ordinary white foll were freed.  negros remained slaves . and organized racism came into with an intellectual component that 'established' the inferiority of black people by 'scientific' means. 

we all came to believe the crap but it was all a lie, a tool of divide and rule.  but now that it is ingrained in us and the system works accordingly giving favour to the 'superior' all flows in that manner.  but it has nutten to do with the truth of life.  racism is a lie but it works for our exploiters. 

and though white people have had a better deal they too are exploited.  and as capitalism winds down their positions erodes as well back into the slavery they were allowed out of back in the days

so what am to do in all this nonsense here.. take it seriously?

I take it seriously yes.  its a lie but its real and very punitive for such as I.  it can be changed by the exploited banding together and eliminating the system.  but people are yet too divided even if the stage and the day is crucial..in the sense that reform or revolutionary action is essential now to change the society which is dangerously perched indeed...
