Largest lottery jackpot in Canadian history up for grabs Saturday

One Lotto 6/49 player could be holding the luckiest ticket in the game’s existence as the largest jackpot in Canadian lottery history is set to be drawn this Saturday.

The winning ticket will be worth an estimated $55 million, breaking the previous record of $54.3 million, which was claimed by a group of Albertan oil and gas plant workers in 2005.

“We're thrilled to offer players the largest estimated jackpot in the game's history," said Wendy Montgomery, vice-president of marketing and sales at OLG
