Gaiety, at Brickdam and Camp Street was unfortunately destroyed by fire in 1926.

The Metro on Middle Street changed its name to the Empire to accommodate the Metropole,

which opened in 1934

Empire’s first movie was the Prisoner of Zenda  !

Capitol in Albouystown.

There was a next Cinema next to belvedere that burned down, don't remember the name of it
