Natural remedy for cold, cough, congestion....

so this is my daughter's new treatment/remedy for cold/cough/congestion for her family......esp the boys

2 tblsp drived thyme leaves
2 cups water
juice of half a lemon
honey to sweeten

put thyme in water
bring to a boil
simmer for 10 mins
strain
add lemon juice & honey

drink up!!

i can't believe how well this works.

I have nice fat leaf thyme in my house growing.  I trim and dry leaves all the time.  will those work?

but seriously..I was thinking about a real soup to do the curing...beef with dumplins, some bush and ground provisions...

or a broorff with grouper head, carite thyme and cive! :o

in all seriousness what cures my cold and clears my congestion totally is this.....

fish broorf, finely seasoned with nothing but fish and soup but plenty pepper...real pepper, hot like fiyah from heat and from the pepper.

I put a towel over my head and drink dat and it kills my cold....or at the very least clears me up for 24 hours minimum at which point I repeat the dose if necessary... until the cold goes permanently

Mes...I hear the last time you had high wine was when you went to a bar and the fella ask you if you wanted a shot a high wine, and you get vex and showed him your 'shot' of high wine by jumpin' on the bar-counter and star to wine-up.

That was a higher-wine.
