The problem with continuing to parrot things being done for generations is exactly the mental slavery I speak of...people get scared when they see that the generational operation has resulted in regression, as oppose to progress, but still refuse to modify their codification of the world. If we were to stick to that age-old thinking, and I do iunderstand such needs as a crutch, then we should abandon the car and start walking. Hail progress!!!
Religion, or any other ruse, when adapted sufficiently well-enough will better serve the needs of those who adapt, and prove detrimental to those abusing the dogma in stupid conformity.
