THE contributions of former Guyanese Head of State Bharrat Jagdeo continue to be recognised by reputable international institutions, with the latest being the announcement of an honorary doctorate from Central Lancashire University in the United Kingdom, which he will receive next week. Mr. Jagdeo and Royal Preston Hospital neurosurgeon, Professor Charles Davis and voluntary worker, Gulab Singh MBE are among the highly-acclaimed professionals who will be conferred honorary awards at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), according to the Lancashire Evening Post.
