physically abused by her longtime beau super star Amitabh Bachchan and
husband, the late Mukesh Aggarwal. There is another fact, which may
shock fans of this sex-goddess, that she is allegedly a bisexual and
has had a relationship with her long time secretary Farzana. It may be
recalled that it was alleged that Farzana was one of the reasons her
husband's suicide. The book tells us that Rekha has always craved for
love but love has eluded the actress who ruled millions of Indian
hearts.

salman khan denied those rumors and came clean on them, there's a interview out... he even wish her well, and said that he is happy for her and he's also happy tht she is married.
unlike amitabh, who always aviod Rekha at functions.

so much for rumors, it is also rumoured when Salman went to the set of the movie (Chalte Chalte) that Ash and SRK were starring he broke the sets and SRK signed up Rani to play the part then Ash went public with the news that Salman indeed was physical with her especially after he bought her an apartment in Bandra.... and this is according to the news from Bollywood Now which is broadcast in NYC.
