The whole social networking/facebook phenomena has come and gone I think. Google has missed the boat. Who knows what the next big thing will be...perhaps super nano technology?
[quote author=Snoopster link=topic=65249.msg409808#msg409808 date=1334167354] I real an article on yahoo news a few weeks back where they postulated that the golden days of Facebook are over. When the kids' parents started to go on FB that was the death rattle. Now the kids have found other ways to chat anonymously and are ignoring FB altogether. They also found that people have stopped posting photos and using status updates - and those were the 2 premier features of FB. Add to that the privacy issues and the talk of employers using FB to screen candidates, it's all but over.

what i cannot understand with FB is why are they constantly doing updates????? I hate the stupid timeline thing and they force you to change your regular page to that shit time line thing!
now i see when my friends like other things and i dont really care to know what they like.
i only use it to keep in touch with family overseas now. thats it
The folks at Facebook have have made their money and don't really care what the users think or like anymore. It's that indifference which will eventually bring the demise of FB and lead the creation of it's replacement - what that is remains to be seen.
